和菓子
“Wagashi” are Japanese candies made using a traditional Japanese manufacturing process. This word is used in contrast to the Western candies that came from Europe during the Meiji Era. Kind of the Japanese candies that Daifuku wrapped bean jam made of adzuki beans in a rice cake. There are various variations such as the thing which added a bean and a yomogi to a rice cake or the thing which I put a strawberry and custard cream in substitution for bean jam.
